Moriah Gillespie is National American Miss Kansas Elite 2026, raised in the small town of Howard, Kansas. A wrestler for 13 years, she competed at a time when opportunities for girls in wrestling were far more limited, earning the memorable nickname “Bonecrusher.”
Today, Moriah uses her title to champion women’s wrestling and advocate for local animal shelters, fosters, and rescues. Outside of her advocacy, she also loves photography and baking—two creative passions that are very much a part of who she is.
Her mission is simple: celebrate strong women, support animals in need, and use her platform to make a positive impact in her community.

Moriah is passionate about supporting local shelters, fosters, and rescues and the people who dedicate their time to helping animals in need. Through volunteering, fundraising, supply drives, and community partnerships, she hopes to bring more attention and support to organizations giving animals a second chance.
Women’s Wrestling
After 13 years on the wrestling mat, Moriah knows firsthand how much the sport can build strength, confidence, and resilience. She competed during a time when opportunities for girls were far more limited and now celebrates the incredible growth of women’s wrestling while encouraging the next generation of girls to step onto the mat.

Moriah competed in the National American Miss Kansas State Pageant, where she was honored to earn the title of National American Miss Kansas Elite 2026. Now, she is preparing for the next step of her journey: representing Kansas on the national stage at the National American Miss National Pageant in Orlando, Florida. Nationals gives Moriah the opportunity to represent her home state, share the causes she believes in, connect with women from across the country, and continue using her title to make a positive impact.
